Catherine is trained at a Masters level in Clinical Psychology and Gottman Method Relationship Counselling Level 1 and 2. She has worked in private practice for over fifteen years so can work with psychological issues that may be affecting your relationship including depression, anxiety, addiction or other emotional difficulties. Catherine also works with individuals coming to terms with the breakdown of a significant relationship or who want to explore new ways of approaching relationships.
Catherine brings a warm and encouraging approach to therapy and with many years of experience in counselling and clinical work to assist you explore the issues in your current relationship or your life generally.
Catherine has a long standing interest in Mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Recovery from Trauma and working with couples, families and young adults.
Catherine brings warmth, empathy and compassion to her work. She values creating a safe place in order to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients.
Catherine is also experienced in assessment and treatment of a range of psychological issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, personality disorders, addiction and panic disorder.
Catherine is a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist who offers clients a supportive and collaborative environment to resolve their relationship issues.
