WHO SHOULD I CALL TO DISCUSS MY CONCERNS WITH OR TO BOOK AN INITIAL APPOINTMENT WITH COUPLES MATTER?
Feel free to contact either Catherine or Sophie to discuss how Couples Matter can assist you. Catherine and Sophie have their own individual clients and also work as a team, as required and agreed, in couples and family counselling therapy.
CAN I MAKE ONE APPOINTMENT TO SEE IF COUNSELLING SUITS ME AND/OR MY PARTNER?
Yes, please call either Catherine Harford or Sophie Pedersen to arrange. At your first appointment, you can explain your concerns and discuss ways we can assist you.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
Fees for psychology and counselling services vary depending on your individual or couple needs.
Couples Matter have also developed a range of relationship focused programs and services that offer alternatives to traditional couples counselling models.
Catherine or Sophie will discuss which service and their fees when you call to make an inquiry or appointment.
Fees are paid either with cash or through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). If you are paying using EFT please make your payment prior to the session and, if possible, forward a copy of the payment receipt to either Catherine or Sophie.
Couples Matter relationship counselling services include Individual Counselling, Couples Counselling, Relationship Rescue or Intensive Couples Counselling, Bali Relationship Retreats, The Eight Dates Challenge, Relationship Masterclasses or other adhoc psychology or counselling service will be advised in advance and these services must be paid in full prior to commencement of these services.
Rebates from Medicare or your health fund may be available.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL A SESSION?
Please try and give at least 48hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice you may be charged for the session.

Catherine and Sophie are committed to integrating best practice principles, guidelines and business ethics across all operational areas of Couples Matters as recommended by the Australian Psychology Society and Australian Counsellors Association.
Catherine and Sophie regularly undergo supervision and attend ongoing professional development as part of their commitment to providing professional and ethical psychological, counselling, private mediation and other therapeutic services for clients.
